- Remove the grille.
- Undo the direction indicator screw, unplug the connector and remove the direction indicator.
- Remove the three screws holding the headlamp.
- Pull out the headlamp so that the lower plastic clip opens.
- Lift out the headlamp slightly so that the headlamp connector can be unplugged.
- Lift out the headlamp.

- Position the headlamp drain hoses so that these point downward. IMPORTANT: Make sure the headlamp drain hose is not pinched. The hose must not be kinked.
- Position the headlamp correctly. Press it into the lower plastic clip.
- Fit the three screws holding the headlamp.
- Spray with "Kontakt 61" and plug the connectors to the lamp.
- Fit the direction indicator, see «DIRECTION INDICATOR»(ref-212222-S34961348982005122200000)
- Fit the grille.
- Adjust the headlamp, see «HEADLAMP»(ref-212222-S37864130152005122200000) .

Note. Fit bulbs with correct rating only, the wiring can otherwise be damaged.
- Remove the cover on the back of the headlamp.
- Unplug the connector to the halogen bulb.
- Unhook the mounting bracket holding the halogen bulb and change the bulb.

The DICE control module can be programmed for three different types of headlamp logic

The fuse 35 has been removed from cars on markets where daylight driving lights are not used. Program alternatives 1 and 2.
While the engine is being started, the dipped beam is turned off. This is irrespective of the program alternative if the light switch is in position 0 or 1, but for safety reasons it is maximized to 20 seconds.
