| Washer Fluid Level | Ignition ON | Stimulates the input for the message to be activated (shown) on the display. The SID normally has a 70 second filtration for the message except when the engine is being started. On activation with Tech 2, the same delay applies (70 sec). The message is deleted using the SID unit buttons. |
| Coolant Fluid Level Sensor | Ignition ON | Stimulates the input for the message to be activated (shown) on the display. The SID normally has a 30 second filtration for the message except when the engine is being started. On activation with Tech 2, the same delay applies (30 sec). The message is deleted using the SID unit buttons. |
| Front Lamp Failure | Ignition ON | Simulates the input for the message to be activated (shown) on the display. The message can be deleted using the SID unit buttons. |
| Display Test | Ignition ON | Tests all segments and lighting on the display. |
| Sound Test | Ignition ON | Tests all sounds that the SID can produce. |
