1. Lower the cover (A) for the data link connector.
2. Unscrew the screws (B) in the data link connector.
3. Undo the screws and the clip that secures the lower panel with the air duct (C).
4. Unplug the connector (A) for the floor lighting.
5. Lift away the lower panel.
6. Undo the accelerator cable (B) from the accelerator pedal by moving the bushing backwards and then unhooking the cable and bushing.
7. Remove the pedal (C).

Brief description

The accelerator is connected with a regular cable to two pedal position sensors that are located in the throttle body. See THROTTLE CONTROL and PEDAL SENSORS .
