- Release the connector from the mass air flow sensor.
- Release the hose from the air filter housing cover.
- Remove the air filter housing cover.
- Remove the air filter.
- Cover the turbo inlet hose and blow the air filter housing clean.

- Fit a new air filter.
- Fit the air filter housing cover.
- Connect the hose to the air filter housing cover.
- Connect the mass air flow sensor connector.

- Remove Control module, Trionic T8 (589). See «TRIONIC T8 CONTROL MODULE (589) (2006)»(ref-275835-S15998373582007122900000) or «TRIONIC T8 CONTROL MODULE (589) (2007).»(ref-279917-S04257352552008021800000)
- Remove the solenoid valve's hose (A) from the intake manifold.
- Remove the atmospheric pressure sensor (539) (B) from the intake manifold. Allow the sensor to hang in the connector.
- Undo the nut for the cable duct (C).
- Undo the fuel pressure regulator's hose (D) from the intake manifold.
- Undo the EVAP canister purge valve's hose (A) from the intake manifold and fold aside.
- Undo the brake servo's plastic hose (B) from the intake manifold.
- Unplug the wiring harness' connector (A) for the injectors.
- Undo the wiring harness' connector from the clip (A) under the intake manifold.
- Unplug the injector connectors (B).
- Lift up the wiring harness to the injectors.
- Remove the upper bracket to the dipstick (A) and undo it from the sump and fold aside.
- Remove the intake manifold's stay (B)
- Remove the intake manifold (A).
Description
The induction system comprises air cleaner, mass air flow sensor, connecting pipes/hoses, turbo unit and charge air cooler. The system is connected to the throttle body.
