1. Release the connector from the mass air flow sensor.
2. Release the hose from the air filter housing cover.
3. Remove the air filter housing cover.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Cover the turbo inlet hose and blow the air filter housing clean.

1. Fit a new air filter.
2. Fit the air filter housing cover.
3. Connect the hose to the air filter housing cover.
4. Connect the mass air flow sensor connector.

1. Remove Throttle body actuator unit (604). See «THROTTLE BODY ACTUATOR (604) (2006)»(ref-275835-S17178834512007122900000) or «THROTTLE BODY ACTUATOR (604) (2007).»(ref-279917-S30521273282008021800000)
2. Remove Control module, Trionic T8 (589). See «TRIONIC T8 CONTROL MODULE (589) (2006)»(ref-275835-S15998373582007122900000) or «TRIONIC T8 CONTROL MODULE (589) (2007).»(ref-279917-S04257352552008021800000)
3. Remove the solenoid valve's hose (A) from the intake manifold.
4. Remove the atmospheric pressure sensor (539) (B) from the intake manifold. Allow the sensor to hang in the connector.
5. Undo the nut for the cable duct (C).
6. Undo the fuel pressure regulator's hose (D) from the intake manifold.
7. Undo the EVAP canister purge valve's hose (A) from the intake manifold and fold aside.
8. Undo the brake servo's plastic hose (B) from the intake manifold.
9. Unplug the wiring harness' connector (A) for the injectors.
10. Undo the wiring harness' connector from the clip (A) under the intake manifold.
11. Unplug the injector connectors (B).
12. Lift up the wiring harness to the injectors.
13. Remove the upper bracket to the dipstick (A) and undo it from the sump and fold aside.
14. Remove the intake manifold's stay (B)
15. Remove the intake manifold (A).

Description

The induction system comprises air cleaner, mass air flow sensor, connecting pipes/hoses, turbo unit and charge air cooler. The system is connected to the throttle body.
