Check fuse No. 7. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Ensure voltage is present at switch terminal No. 6 (Brown wire). Operate switch. Ensure voltage and ground supply are present at motor.

- Check fuse "C", and fuses No. 11 and 27. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-2902-S40910587402000041400000) . Ensure voltage is present at switch terminal No. 6 (Brown wire).
- Operate switch. Check voltage supply to motor. If mirror does not operate as specified, check all connectors, wiring and grounds.
- If fault is with left mirror, go to step 11 . If fault is with right mirror, disconnect 9-pin power mirror switch connector. Connect test light between positive battery voltage and 9-pin connector terminal No. 5 (Black wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
- Turn ignition on. Connect test light between ground and 9-pin connector terminal No. 6 (Violet wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Violet wire.
- Disconnect power mirror motor connector. Connect test light between power mirror motor female connector terminals No. 6 (Blue wire) and No. 8 (Yellow wire). Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch 9-pin female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 8 (Gray wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 8 (Gray wire). Connect another jumper wire between connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect test light between power mirror motor female connector terminals No. 4 (Blue/Orange wire) and No. 8 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary. If test light comes on, connect jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 9 (Green wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 9 (Green wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Reconnect motor connector. Connect jumper wire between wiper switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 8 (Gray wire). If mirror moves upward, go to next step. If mirror does not move upward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 8 (Gray wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If power mirror moves downward, go to next step. If power mirror does not move downward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 9 (Green wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If power mirror moves inward, go to next step. If power mirror does not move inward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 9 (Green wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If power mirror moves outward, replace switch. If power mirror does not move outward, repair wiring as necessary. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-2902-S40910587402000041400000) .
- Disconnect 9-pin power mirror switch connector. Connect test light between positive battery voltage and 9-pin female connector terminal No. 5 (Black wire). If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire. If test light comes on, turn ignition on. Connect test light between ground and 9-pin connector terminal No. 6 (Violet wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Violet wire.
- Disconnect power mirror motor connector. Connect test light between power mirror motor female connector terminals No. 6 (Blue wire) and No. 8 (Yellow wire). Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch 9-pin female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 1 (Pink wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 1 (Pink wire). Connect another jumper wire between connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect test light between power mirror motor female connector terminals No. 4 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 8 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary. If test light comes on, connect jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 2 (Gray/Black wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 2 (Gray/Black wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Reconnect motor connector. Connect jumper wire between wiper switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 1 (Pink wire). If mirror moves upward, go to next step. If mirror does not move upward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 1 (Pink wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If power mirror moves downward, go to next step. If power mirror does not move downward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 2 (Gray/Black wire). If power mirror moves inward, go to next step. If power mirror does not move inward, repair wiring as necessary.
- Disconnect all jumper wires. Connect jumper wire between power mirror switch female connector terminals No. 5 (Black wire) and No. 2 (Gray/Black wire). Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 6 (Violet wire) and No. 7 (Yellow wire). If power mirror moves outward, replace switch. If power mirror does not move outward, repair wiring as necessary. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-2902-S40910587402000041400000) .
