Replace Throttle Valve Potentiometer Opel Zafira B

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Remove engine cover (2) • 3 bolts (1)

3. 3. Remove throttle valve connection (6) • Remove charge air pipe (4) – 1 clamp (5) • Remove wiring harness plug – From charge pressure sensor (3) – From throttle valve potentiometer (2) • Dismantle vacuum hose (7) – From vacuum unit - throttle valve • 4 bolts (1)

4. 4. Detach throttle valve potentiometer (2) • 2 bolts (1)

Install

5. 5. Attach throttle valve potentiometer [Ensure that the flattened area of the shaft (2) engages with the flattened area of the plastic sheath (1)] • 2 bolts

6. 6. Install throttle valve connection • 4 bolts • Tightening torque 5 Nm • Attach wiring harness plug – Charge pressure sensor – Throttle valve potentiometer • Attach vacuum hose – To vacuum unit throttle valve • Attach charge air pipe – 1 clamp – Tightening torque 3.5 Nm
7. 7. Install engine cover • 3 bolts – Tightening torque 8 Nm
8. 8. Close bonnet
