Programming — Vivaro Opel Vivaro A

Immobiliser 1 illustration ~172 words

Important: Do not temporarily fit a new (not programmed) Engine Control Unit to determine whether the current Engine Control Unit was malfunctioning. The new (not programmed) Engine Control Unit can afterwards no longer be used for other systems except this one.

Important: Once a new (not programmed) key, Body Control Module or Engine Control Unit has been programmed to a vehicle, it can only be used in combination with this vehicle. The key, Body Control Module or Engine Control Unit cannot be reset.

Note. If any trouble code is stored before or during the programming, this must be resolved first. The section “LED status — Vivaro” can also help to find the failure with respect to the immobiliser system.

Note. For the valid security code consult the car pass issued to the customer on delivery of the vehicle.

Missing codes can be requested with the Car Pass Data Request Form found in TI-C-10 (I0000804, 9/'94) in TIS 2000 (Service Information/Direct Document Search/Technical information) or with a country specific procedure.
