After switching on the ignition, the check-control functions are checked.
The fault messages appear in the display and the reading "CHECK" illuminates, except for vehicles with carphone.
If several fault messages are present, these are displayed successively. Not all fault messages appear fully written out.
- Check remote control battery
- Check brake light switch
- Check safeguard
- In the case of a fault in the lighting system, e.g.: Check front right turn signal lamp
- In the case of insufficient tyre pressure, e.g.: Check rear right tyre pressure
- In the case of severe loss of tyre pressure, e.g.: Tyre pressure loss, rear left
- Check washer fluid level
- Check power steering fluid level
- Clean windscreen
Confirmation of warning messages
When faults are present, the display is blocked for other messages until the fault is confirmed by means of the wiper lever. In the case of several faults, these must be confirmed successively.
In the case of vehicles with an infotainment system, the warning messages are confirmed by pressing a multifunction button.
After all faults have been confirmed, the display is again free for other messages / displays.
Interruption of current:
Following reconnection of the battery, the functions are checked automatically and any faults displayed.
