Starter
Starter, Remove and Install
Disconnect ground cable from battery. Remove intake manifold support from intake manifold and cylinder block. Detach starter bracket from starter and cylinder block.
Disconnect cable connections (1) and (2) from starter. Remove upper fastening bolt (long bolt) from transmission. Remove lower fastening bolt (3) from starter.
Pull out starter downwards.
Attach starter to transmission - note different bolt lengths - 60 Nm/44 lbf. ft.
Attach cable connections to starter - ensure correct cable routing. Attach starter bracket to starter and cylinder block. Attach support to intake manifold and cylinder block. Connect ground cable to battery.
