Engine Cooling
New Radiator
To achieve adequate heat exchange, a radiator with a surface of 2300 cm2 / 357 in2 and a core thickness of 34 mm/1.34 in. is used.
The two-speed main fan is taken from the 17 DT (TC 4 EE 1) engine.
A new compensation tank and cover keep the cooling system at a pressure of 1.4 bar.
An auxiliary coolant pump prevents heat build-up in the engine.
