Return Line, Replace (Rhd)
Disconnect and remove battery. Remove battery holder. Remove air cleaner housing completely. Detach intake pipe vacuum sensor from bulkhead (if present). Remove coolant compensation tank, coolant cutoff valve. Collect escaping coolant.
Unscrew return line (1) from steering gear. Remove return pipe from fluid reservoir. Remove return line.
Insert return line and attach to fluid reservoir in an oil-proof manner. Bolt return line to steering gear, use new seals - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft.
Install coolant cutoff valve, coolant compensation tank. Attach intake pipe vacuum sensor to bulkhead (if present). Install complete air cleaner housing.
Install battery holder, battery and connect. Top up coolant.
Top up hydraulic system and check for leaks - see operation "Hydraulic System, Top Up / Bleed".
