Subject: Lower Coolant Hose
Vehicles: OMEGA/CARLTON, SENATOR-B, C 26 NE and C 30 NE engines
- as of beginning of Model Year '91 (M) up to Vehicle
Ident. No. .....M 1 259 532.
On the above-mentioned vehicles/engines, the lower coolant hose may come too close to the fan gear of the generator.
Conversion
Instructions: During the next workshop visit or during the Annual Inspection, fasten the lower coolant hose to the power steering line (coolant loop) with a wide cable clip.
This measure has already been introduced in production as of 04.06.1991, Vehicle Ident. No. .... M 1 259 532.
Time Allowance: This operation should be carried out free of charge as a service to the customer.
