Function
The functioning of the central door locking system for the Omega - B corresponds on the whole to the previous system.
The sliding roof and the electronically actuated windows can be closed from outside (hold key in door locking position for at least 1 second).
The central door locking system can also be operated with the infrared remote control.
The handle of the vehicle key contains a transmitter which sends infrared signals to the infrared receiver.
The infrared receiver is positioned near the vehicle's front interior lamp.
It amplifies the signal and relays it to the control unit, which then actuates the various functions.
The infrared remote control does not influence the mechanical actuation of the central door locking system.
Note:
The electronically actuated windows and the sliding roof can only be closed if they are correctly programmed according to the following procedure:
Electronic window winders:
- Close doors.
- Switch on ignition.
- Close each window and continues pressing each rocker switch for at least 5 sec.
