Engine Management

The stall control is improved for MY '94. At engine coolant temperatures of less than 60 °C/140 °F, the engine idle speed is increased from the present 800 to 850 rpm, to 860 to 940 rpm.

The engine control module is also modified to counter the possibility of erratic running at medium and low engine speed. During deceleration, fuel cut - off now occurs when the engine speed is above 1800 rpm and the engine coolant temperature is above 60 °C/140 °F. Previously, fuel cut - off during deceleration occurred when the engine speed was above 1500 rpm and the engine coolant was above 40 °C/104 °F.
