Monterey with 6VD1 engine
Condition:
Contrary to the information given on page J - 180 of the Monterey Service Instruction microfiche KTA - 1634, grinding of the crankshaft main journal or crankpin is not allowed. If diameter dimensions exceed the specified limit, the crankshaft must be replaced.
As a result, undersize bearings are not available from P&A.
All future literature will be amended accordingly.
