Radiator Outlet Hose

Condition
Due to the deletion of the radiator cowl, as of MY'93, there is a possibility of the radiator outlet hose chafing against the cooling fan.
Remedy:
In order to ensure adequate clearance between the engine cooling fan and the radiator outlet hose, a restraining tie has been introduced to bias the hose towards the air cleaner front bracket.
It is recommended that this restraining de should be applied on all vehicles in the above mentioned chassis range if the hose to fan clearance is less than 25 mm.
Radiator hoses should be changed if damaged.
