Features Specific for this System
The ABS 415 system is equipped with self diagnosis. This means:
If the ABS 415 control unit detects a system fault, this is stored after a certain period of time.
Note:
The ABS 415 permits reading of trouble codes while driving.
Important:
Trouble codes can only be erased using TECH 1.
At end of diagnosis with TECH 1, the ignition must be switched off at least once.
· The Effect:
"ABS is partially shut down if only one sensor is concerned" means that the ABS function at the axle with the malfunctioning sensor only is deactivated. ABS function on the other axle is still present!
