The display for the heater/AC controls includes the following display elements:

The ECC controls the following functions:
- Interior temperature
- Fan (7 speeds)
- Recirculated air function
- One-zone control of the interior
- Automatic climate control
- Defrost programme for windscreen
- Manual switching for recirculated air
- Heated rear screen / heated outside mirrors
In automatic mode, the ECC provides the optimum setting under almost all conditions. If necessary, the ECC can be adjusted manually.
The preset temperature can be adjusted to values between 16 °C and 28 °C using the left rotary knob.
With a setting below 16 °C the "LO" indicator appears in the display. The ECC operates constantly with maximum cooling power, it is not possible to control the temperature.
With a setting above 28 °C the "HI" indicator appears in the display. The ECC operates constantly with maximum heating power, it is not possible to control the temperature.
The preset temperature setting remains stored after the ignition is switched off.
