Petrol Engine 4ZD1
The 4ZD1 petrol engine is a 4 cylinder 2.3 litre water cooled unit and features a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) driven by a toothed belt.
The engine block is of grey cast iron and the cylinder head of aluminium.
Cold starting and running is assisted by an automatic choke and a hot air intake system.
