Remove
- 1. Disconnect the battery • Detach earth clamp from earth terminal – Loosen nut
- 2. Detach rear panelling on both sides from the wheel housing inner trim • Unscrew 8x bolt (5) on both sides
- 3. Detach rear panelling below • Remove 4x body-bound rivet (4)
- 4. Detach rear panelling above • Release seal below • Remove 4x body-bound rivet (1)
- 5. Detach rear panelling completely • Unclip rear panelling (arrows)
Note. 2nd person required.
- 6. If fitted: release and detach park pilot (3) wiring harness plug
- 7. Open Flex Fix
- 8. Detach Flex Fix panel • Unscrew 8x bolt
- 9. Detach panel (1) carrier • Unscrew 4x bolt (2), (5)
- 10. Detach 2x bracket (4) for additional rear lights • Unscrew 4x bolts (3)
- 11. Detach number plate carrier • Swing up number plate carrier • 4x detach protective cap • Unscrew 4x screwed connection
- 12. Detach number plate mount • Detach 2x retaining rings • Remove 2x pin
- 13. Remove ventilation cover right (1) • Unclip 4x
- 14. Release Flex Fix System wiring harness (3) • Remove wiring harness (3) from rear end panel • Disconnect wiring harness plug (arrow) • Unfasten cable tie (2) • Detach rubber grommet (4)
- 15. Detach Bowden cable (2) • Detach spring (1) • Detach Bowden cable (2)
- 16. Release Flex Fix System • Unscrew 6x bolt (1), (2), (3), (4)
Note. Watch for wiring harness bracket (arrow)
- 17. Withdraw Flex Fix System
Note. Two mechanics required.
Install
- 18. Insert Flex Fix System
Note. Two mechanics required.
- 19. Fasten Flex Fix System • Tighten 6x bolt 45 Nm
Note. Watch for wiring harness bracket
- 20. Attach number plate carrier • Tighten 4x bolted connections • Attach 4x dust cap
- 21. Attach number plate mount • Insert 2x pin • Insert 2x retaining ring
- 22. Attach 2x bracket for additional rear lights • Tighten 4x bolt
- 23. Attach panel carrier • Tighten 4x bolt
- 24. Install Flex Fix panel • Tighten 8x bolt
- 25. Fit wiring harness (1), (3) for additional rear lights • Unfasten cable tie (2) • Completely unclip 2x wiring harness (1), (3) • Pull 2x cable to the correct length • Completely clip in 2x wiring harness (1), (3) • Connect cable ties (2)
Note. Due to the additional rear lights bracket adapted for the Corsa-D, the wiring harness for the additional rear lights needs to be lengthened somewhat.
- 26. Connect park pilot wiring harness plug
- 27. Attach rear panelling • Clip in rear panelling

- 28. Fasten rear panelling above • Install 4x body-bound rivet
- 29. Fasten rear panelling below • Install 4x body-bound rivet
- 30. Attach rear panelling on both sides to the wheel housing inner trim • Tighten 8x bolt
- 31. Connect the battery • Attach earth clamp to earth terminal – Tighten nut
- 32. Program volatile memories
