Audio Systems Replace (Antara)

Remove

Note: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using scan tool.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Introduce removal bar KM-6097 into openings (arrows) until it engages.
3. Press both removal bars outwards and at the same time withdraw the radio from the holder.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Install

Note: If replacing control unit, program control unit with scan tool.

Note: Service tools are not required to install the audio head unit.

1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Slide the radio into the cradle and using finger pressure over the removal tool holes, push the unit in until the spring clips engage.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
