Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid

If an unexpected signal is sent from the solenoid to the TCM, the torque converter clutch solenoid is turned OFF to cancel the lock up.

TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect CVT unit harness connector.
  3. Check resistance between CVT unit harness connector terminal and ground. RESISTANCE CHART Solenoid Valve Connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) Torque converter clutch solenoid valve F46 12 - Ground 5 - 20 ohms
  4. If NG, replace the transaxle assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-337628-S00709375092009080600000) ".
