Pressure is provided to oiling system by an inner-gear type pump. Oil pump is mounted on front of crankshaft, and is driven by crankshaft. Oil pump feeds oil from pan to full-flow oil filter. Oil is then pumped into main oil gallery of crankcase where it is split into 2 circuits.
Oil is distributed to main bearings and to cylinder head oil gallery. From main bearings, oil is fed to connecting rods. Cylinder walls and piston pins are lubricated by oil squirt hole in connecting rod. From cylinder head, oil gallery oil is fed to No. 4 camshaft bracket, which feeds the camshaft, rocker shaft, and rocker arm. (Схема №8)
