1. Run the vehicle to warm up the transfer body sufficiently.
2. Stop the engine, and remove the drain plug to drain the transfer oil.
3. Apply sealant to drain plug. Install drain plug on transfer and tighten to the specified torque. Refer to «COMPONENTS»(ref-234001-S17423432212006052800000) . Use Genuine Silicone RTV or equivalent. Refer to «RECOMMENDED CHEMICAL PRODUCTS AND SEALANTS»(ref-233992-S15687029032006052800000) .

1. Remove filler plug and add gear oil until oil level reaches the specified limit near filler plug mounting hole. Oil capacity: Approx. 0.31 l (5/8 US pt, 1/2 Imp pt) CAUTION: Carefully fill the oil. (Fill up for approx. 3 minutes)
2. Leave the vehicle for 3 minutes, and check the oil level again.
3. Apply sealant to filler plug. Install filler plug to transfer and tighten to the specified torque. Refer to «COMPONENTS»(ref-234001-S17423432212006052800000) . Use Genuine Silicone RTV or equivalent. Refer to «RECOMMENDED CHEMICAL PRODUCTS AND SEALANTS»(ref-233992-S15687029032006052800000) .
