Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Note. The driver seat control unit is part of the driver seat.

1. Remove driver seat. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388069-S39263206372011022800000) " (with climate controlled seats), " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388069-S05964702822011022800000) " (without climate controlled seats).
2. Disconnect driver seat control unit electrical connector.
3. Remove driver seat control unit.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Note. After installing the driver seat, perform additional service when replacing control unit. Refer to " SPECIAL REPAIR REQUIREMENT ".

1. Remove audio unit. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388076-S08096025092011022800000) " (Base Audio), " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388076-S40290873202011022800000) " (BOSE w/Monochrome Display), " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388076-S35974645152011022800000) " (BOSE w/Color Display), " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388076-S12949408612011022800000) " (BOSE w/Color Display w/NAVI).
2. Remove the screw (A).
3. Remove automatic drive positioner control unit (1).

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 218

1. Remove the seat memory finisher (1). Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-388080-S42436787412011022800000) ".
2. Press pawls and remove seat memory switch (2) from seat memory finisher (1). : Pawl

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 219

1. Remove the steering column cover upper (1). Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - STEERING COLUMN COVERS»(ref-388073-S14586337592011022800000) ".
2. Press pawls and remove tilt & telescopic switch (2) from the steering column cover upper (1). : Pawl

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
