DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Power windows are part of the vehicle multiplex control system. Power window switches are integrated into Local Control Units (LCUs). LCUs are located in each door. The LCUs output power to operate motors, which raise and lower window.
When operating passenger's power windows from driver's master switch, LCU 01 located in driver's door sends digital signals to all other LCUs, which in turn operate the appropriate power window motor.
