Accelerator Control System: Removal & Installation Nissan Frontier D40

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 1

1. Check that the accelerator pedal moves smoothly within the specified range. Accelerator pedal-total pedal applied stroke "A": 48 mm (1.89 in) (Scheme 1): Checking Accelerator Pedal Position
2. Check that the accelerator pedal smoothly returns to the original position.
3. Perform an electrical inspection of the accelerator pedal position sensor. Refer to " «DTC P2138 APP SENSOR»(/nissan/frontier/d40-2004-2010/remont/engine-control-systems/#engine-control-system-qr) " (QR), " «DTC P2138 APP SENSOR»(/nissan/frontier/d40-2004-2010/remont/engine-control-systems/#engine-control-system-vq) " (VQ). CAUTION: When the harness connector of the accelerator pedal position sensor is disconnected, perform "Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning". Refer to " «ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING»(/nissan/frontier/d40-2004-2010/remont/engine-control-systems/#engine-control-system-qr) " (QR), " «ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING»(/nissan/frontier/d40-2004-2010/remont/engine-control-systems/#engine-control-system-vq) " (VQ).
