Troubleshooting Hints

  1. Malfunction of the defogger relay system.
  2. The wiring harness or connectors may have loose, corroded, or damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the connector.

Step 2: Check The Battery Power Supply Circuit To The Remote Controlled Mirror (RH) Test At Remote Controlled Mirror (RH) Connector E-20

  1. Disconnect the remote mirror connector E-20 and measure the voltage available at the wiring harness side of the connector. (Scheme 6)
  2. Measure the voltage between terminal No. 1 and ground. (Scheme 7) The voltage should equal approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage).

Is the measured voltage approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage)?

  1. YES No action is necessary and testing is complete.
  2. NO Go to step «3»(ref-169853-S08927275012004121600000) .
