1. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position and disconnect the ABS/TCL-ECU connectors before checking resistance and continuity.
2. Check the resistance and continuity between the terminals indicated in the table below.
3. The terminal layout is shown in the illustration. CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE CONNECTOR TERMINAL NO. SIGNAL NORMAL CONDITION 45 - 46 Front-left wheel speed sensor 1.24 - 1.64 kohms 33 - 34 Front-right wheel speed sensor 1.24 - 1.64 kohms 36 - 37 Rear-left wheel speed sensor 1.24 - 1.64 kohms 42 - 43 Rear-right wheel speed sensor 1.24 - 1.64 kohms 16 - body ground Ground Continuity exists (2 ohms or less) 47 - body ground Ground Continuity exists (2 ohms or less)

Move the lock lever of the ABS/TCL-ECU as shown in the illustration, and then disconnect the harness connector.
