Heater Assembly
The heater assembly heats/cools and distributes fresh or recirculated air as directed by selections made on the control panel. The assembly is installed on the vehicle center line, between the dash and the firewall, and consists of a housing, which contains a blower, a heater core, control flaps, evaporator, expansion valve, and evaporator temperature sensor. A drain outlet in the bottom of the housing is connected to a tube installed in the right hand side of the tunnel that directs any condensate from the housing interior to beneath the vehicle.
