Transfer Case Shift Mechanism: Other Mazda Tribute I facelift

Transfer Case

FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEMS

The four-wheel drive system consists of

  1. 4WD switch located on the instrument panel center finish panel
  2. 4WD relay.
  3. Transfer case mounted to the front transaxle. Refer to POWER TAKE OFF UNIT .
  4. Driveshaft and universal joints. Refer to DRIVESHAFT .
  5. Rotary blade coupling (RBC) mounted to the front of the rear differential. Refer to REAR DRIVE AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL .
