REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in A/C-HEATER SYSTEM - MANUAL article in the AIR CONDITIONING & HEAT section. Remove evaporator unit (if equipped). Disconnect electrical connectors from blower unit. Remove blower unit nuts, and remove blower unit. Disassemble blower unit to remove blower motor and blower resistor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Obtain radio anti-theft protection code from owner before disconnecting battery cable. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove steering column cover. Remove center panel cover from instrument panel. Disconnect electrical connectors, and remove heater control panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
- Drain engine coolant. Disconnect heater hoses at engine compartment firewall. Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in «A/C-HEATER SYSTEM - MANUAL»(ref-37151) article in the AIR CONDITIONING & HEAT section. Remove evaporator unit (if equipped).
- Remove nuts and bolts from heater case. Remove heater case. Disassemble heater case to remove heater core. (Схема №1) To install, reverse removal procedure. Fill cooling system.
