Power antenna relay contains a transistor which is controlled by audio unit. When radio is turned on, relay coil is grounded by transistor. Relay energizes to apply power and ground to antenna motor. Antenna motor runs until limit switches changes positions.
Rear power antenna elevation is fully automatic. With the ignition switch in ON or ACC position, the antenna will elevate whenever the radio is turned on and will retract when the radio or the ignition switch is turned off.
