- Remove trunk side trim. Disconnect power antenna connector. Ground power antenna connector terminal "D" (MX-6) or "F" (626). (Scheme 10)or (Scheme 11).
- Apply battery voltage to antenna as specified and check antenna operation. (Scheme 7) If antenna does not operate as specified, replace power antenna assembly. See «POWER ANTENNA»(ref-151353-S13318984072002121300000) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

- Check ROOM (15 amp) fuse and METER (15 amp) fuse in fuse block. (Scheme 9) If fuses are okay, go to next step. If a fuse is blown, check for short circuit, repair as necessary. After repair is complete, replace fuse.
- Check for radio operation. If radio operates, go to next step. If radio does not operate, repair or replace as necessary.
- Turn ignition switch and radio on. Measure voltage at power antenna connector as illustrated. (Scheme 10)- (Scheme 12).
- Turn ignition switch off. Check continuity between power antenna assembly connector Black wire terminal and ground. (Scheme 10)or (Scheme 11).
- If continuity is present, replace power antenna. If continuity is not present, repair power antenna ground in wiring harness.

- Check METER (15 amp) fuse in fuse block. (Scheme 13) If fuses are okay, go to next step. If a fuse is blown, check for short circuit, repair as necessary. After repair is complete, replace fuse.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC and turn radio on. Measure voltage at power antenna connector as illustrated. (Scheme 10), (Scheme 11) & (Scheme 14).
- Turn ignition switch off. Check continuity between power antenna assembly connector terminal "D" (Black wire) on MX-6 or "F" (Black wire) on 626, and ground. (Scheme 10)or (Scheme 11). If continuity is present, replace power antenna. If continuity is not present, repair power antenna ground in wiring harness.
- Remove radio. Turn ignition to ACC and turn radio on. Measure voltage at 12-pin radio connector terminal "D" (Light Green/White wire). (Scheme 15) If battery voltage is present, repair wiring harness between radio and power antenna. If battery voltage is not present, replace radio.

ANTENNA FEEDER
Remove antenna feeder. See POWER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity at antenna feeder as illustrated. (Scheme 16) If continuity exists, replace antenna feeder.
