  1. Remove the master cylinder. (See «MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244464-S03412757792006092400000).)
  2. Remove the clutch pipe. (MT)
  3. Remove the nut (Scheme 37), then remove the cooler hose (LO) bracket from the vehicle.
  4. Remove in the order indicated in (Scheme 36).
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. After installation, perform brake pedal inspection. (See «BRAKE PEDAL INSPECTION»(ref-244464-S11006378782006092400000).)

Scheme 37: DUAL PROPORTIONING VALVE INSPECTION
  1. Connect the SSTs to the brake pipes (Scheme 38)
  2. Bleed the air from the brake system and the SSTs. (Bleed the air from the SSTs through air bleeding valve A.)
  3. Measure the fluid pressure of the master cylinder and the rear brake. If not within the specification, replace the dual proportioning valve.

  1. Remove in the order indicated in (Scheme 40).
  2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
