Removal & Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and support vehicle. Remove the under cover.
Remove necessary air pipes and air hoses.
Remove the intake manifold bracket.
Disconnect terminal "B" wire. (Scheme 4)
Disconnect generator harness connector.
Remove drive belt.
Remove generator mounting bolts.
Remove generator from underside of vehicle.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-167276-S36389688612004101200000). Adjust belt deflection/tension to specification. See «DRIVE BELT»(ref-167276-S04207916302004101200000) under ADJUSTMENTS.
