1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment. (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S03073370962005061100000) .)
3. Remove the passenger-side air bag module. See «PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE»(ref-170501-S09552715172005011000000)
4. Remove the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Remove the console lower cover.
6. Remove the lower panel.
7. Remove the steering shaft. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Remove the A-pillar trim. (See «A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28228105822005061100000) .)
9. Remove the side panel.
10. Remove the front side trim. (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S41953524582005061100000) .)
11. Disconnect the antenna plug.
12. For vehicles equipped with the wire-type climate control unit, disconnect the wires for the front A/C unit. (See FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL .) (See FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION .)
13. Disconnect the connectors.
14. Remove the bolts. WARNING: Removing the dashboard without supporting it can be dangerous. The dashboard may fall and injure you. Always perform these procedure together with at least another person. CAUTION: Removing the dashboard with the thermosensor of the front A/C unit connected can cause thermosensor damage. When removing the dashboard, verify that the thermosensor connector is disconnected.
15. Remove the dashboard from the vehicle. Incline the dashboard slowly forward. Lift up the dashboard while it is inclined forward. Remove the dashboard from the vehicle through the passenger-side front door.
16. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 12

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the figure.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Scheme 13

1. Remove the screws, then remove the column cover.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 14

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower panel.
3. Remove the glove compartment. (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S03073370962005061100000) .)
4. Remove the console lower cover.
5. Remove the screws.
6. Pull the console toward you, then disengage clips A, clips B and pins C from the dashboard.
7. Disconnect the connector, and remove the console.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 15

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Scheme 16

1. Pull the console lower cover toward you, and remove the console lower cover.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Bend the stoppers inward, then remove.
2. Pull the glove compartment toward you while pushing it downward (1), then remove clip A.
3. Slide the glove compartment toward driver's side door (2).
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 19

1. Pull the upper side of lower panel downward, then disengage clips A and pins B from the dashboard.
2. Pull the lower panel toward you, then disengage hooks C from the dashboard, and remove the lower panel.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 20

1. Remove the screws.
2. Pull the meter hood toward you, then disengage clips A and pins B from the dashboard, and remove the meter hood.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 21

1. Disengage clips A and B using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver.
2. Pull the side panel toward you, then disengage hooks C from dashboard, and remove the side panel.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
