Interior Trim: Removal & Installation Mazda MPV II рестайлинг

FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable if equipped with power window.
2. Remove the inner garnish.
3. Remove the regulator handle if equipped. (See REGULATOR HANDLE REMOVAL .) (See REGULATOR HANDLE INSTALLATION .)
4. Remove the fasteners.
5. Remove the cover.
6. Remove the screw A.
7. Remove the screw B.
8. Remove the lens or cap.
9. Remove the screw C.
10. Disengage clips D from the body using a fastener remover.
11. Pull the front door trim upward, then disengage hooks E from the body.
12. Extract the inner handle from the front door trim.
13. Disconnect the door lock switch connector and the power window main switch connector if equipped (driver's side).
14. Disconnect the power window sub switch connector if equipped (passenger's side).
15. Remove the courtesy light if equipped.
16. Remove the front door trim.
17. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 22

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable if equipped with power window.
2. Remove the sliding door garnish. (See «SLIDING DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S01311299512005061100000) .)
3. Remove the sliding door upper frame. (See «SLIDING DOOR UPPER FRAME REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S30388326272005061100000) .)
4. Remove the sliding door inner handle.
5. Remove the regulator handle if equipped.
6. Disengage clips A using a fastener remover.
7. Pull the sliding door trim upward, then disengage hook B from the body.
8. Disconnect the power window sub switch connector if equipped.
9. Remove the sliding door trim.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 23

1. Pull the sliding door garnish toward you, then disengage clips A from the body, and remove the sliding door garnish.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 24

1. Remove the sliding door garnish. (See «SLIDING DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S01311299512005061100000) .)
2. Remove the fastener.
3. Pull the sliding door upper frame toward you, then disengage clips A from the body, and remove the sliding door upper frame.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 25

1. Turn the seaming welt over.
2. Disengage clips A and B using a fastener remover.
3. Pull the A-pillar trim upward, then disengage hooks C and D, and remove the A-pillar trim.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Note. The side air bag sensor is located in the B-pillar.

Scheme 26

1. Remove the assist handle. (See «ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S27147780702005061100000) .)
2. Remove the front scuff plate.
3. Remove the rear scuff plate.
4. Remove the power sliding door rear switch (with power sliding door system).
5. Turn the seaming welt over.
6. Remove the fastener.
7. Disengage clips A using a fastener remover, and remove the B-pillar lower trim.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 27

1. Remove the upper anchor of the front seat belt. (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] , FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
2. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. (See «B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S08045569792005061100000) .)
3. Turn the seaming welt over.
4. Disengage clip A using a fastener remover.
5. Pull the B-pillar upper trim upward, then disengage hooks B from the body, and remove the B-pillar upper trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 28

1. Remove the rear side trim. (See «REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28433078352005061100000) .)
2. Turn the seaming welt over.
3. Remove the upper anchor of the second-row seat belt. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Disengage clips A and clip B using a fastener remover.
5. Pull the C-pillar trim upward, then disengage hook C from the body, and remove the C-pillar trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 29

1. Remove the rear side trim. (See «REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28433078352005061100000) .)
2. Turn the seaming welt over.
3. Remove the upper anchor of the third-row seat belt. (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Disengage clips A and pin B using a fastener remover.
5. Pull the D-pillar trim upward, then disengage hooks C from the body, and remove the D-pillar trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 30

1. Pull the front scuff plate upward, then disengage clips A, pin B and hooks C from the body, and remove the front scuff plate.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 31

1. Pull the rear scuff plate upward, then disengage clips A, pin B and hooks C from the body, and remove the rear scuff plate.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 32

1. Remove the front scuff plate.
2. Turn the seaming welt over.
3. Pull the front side trim toward you, then disengage clip A and pin B from the body, and remove the front side trim.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Turn the weatherstrip over (liftgate side and sliding door side).
3. Remove the mat set end plate.
4. Remove the rear scuff plate.
5. Pull the cup holder upward, then disengage clips A and pin B from the rear side trim, and remove the cup holder (RH only).
6. Remove the bolts and fastener.
7. Remove the tab G by inserting a tape-wrapped screwdriver between the rear side trim and the armrest (vehicles with PSD system).
8. Pull the rear side trim toward you, then disengage clips C, pin D, tabs E and F from the body.
9. Disconnect the rear climate control unit connectors and rear tweeter connectors (vehicles with rear tweeter).
10. Remove the rear side trim.
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 35

1. Turn the weatherstrip over.
2. Disengage clips A and pins B using a fastener remover, and remove the mat set end plate.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 36

1. Pull the liftgate upper trim forward to disengage clips A, pins B and pin C from the body, and remove the liftgate upper trim.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 37

1. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
2. Remove the fastener.
3. Pull the liftgate side trim forward to disengage clips A and pin B from the body.
4. Pull the liftgate side trim upward, then disengage hook C from the liftgate lower trim, and remove the liftgate side trim.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 38

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
3. Remove the liftgate side trim.
4. Remove the cargo compartment light.
5. Remove the liftgate lower trim installation fasteners.
6. Remove the pull handle installation screws.
7. Remove the pull handle.
8. Pull the liftgate lower trim forward to disengage clips A and pins B from the body, and remove the liftgate lower trim.
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 39

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Turn the seaming welt and weatherstrip over.
3. Remove the A-pillar trims. (See «A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28228105822005061100000) .)
4. Remove the B-pillar upper trims. (See «B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28795044512005061100000) .)
5. Remove the C-pillar trims. (See «C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S13667525962005061100000) .)
6. Remove the D-pillar trims. (See «D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S09530082772005061100000) .)
7. Remove the map light. (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Remove the interior light. (See INTERIOR LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. Remove the screws, then remove the sunvisor and assist handle.
10. Fold hooks A up if equipped with a sliding sunroof.
11. Remove the fasteners.
12. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the liftgate opening.
13. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 40

1. Partially peel back the caps.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the assist handle.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 41

1. Remove the headliner. (See «HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S31997669892005061100000) .)
2. Remove the fastener (rear side only).
3. Pull the head impact pad toward you, then disengage clips A and B from the body, and remove the head impact pad.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 42

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front seats. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Remove the second-row seats. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL .) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT INSTALLATION .)
4. Remove the front scuff plate.
5. Remove the rear scuff plate.
6. Remove the console lower cover. (See «CONSOLE LOWER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S09506048052005061100000) .)
7. Remove the front side trim. (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S41953524582005061100000) .)
8. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. (See «B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S08045569792005061100000) .)
9. Remove the lower anchor of the front seat belt installation bolt.
10. Remove the rear side trim. (See «REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28433078352005061100000) .)
11. Remove the long slider cover and adapter cover. (See LONG SLIDER AND ADAPTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
12. Remove the parking brake cover.
13. Remove the rear heat duct (for second-row seat).
14. Remove the fasteners, and remove the floor covering.
15. Remove the floor covering from the vehicle through the passenger-side front door.
16. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the rear side trim. (See «REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-178123-S28433078352005061100000) .)
2. Lift the third-row seat back and lower it into cargo well.
3. Remove the fastener A.
4. Return the third-row seat to the original position.
5. Remove the lower anchor installation bolt of the center third-row seat belt.
6. Remove the fasteners B.
7. Remove the ring of the cargo net, and remove the rear floor covering.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
