Removal & Installation
Remove trunk compartment end trim, left side trim and rear under cover. Disconnect ambient temperature switch electrical connector. Remove grommet. Remove ambient temperature switch retaining screw and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Remove center console box. Remove brake boot. Remove console center trim panel. Disconnect solar ventilation switch electrical connector. Remove solar ventilation switch from console center trim panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Remove trunk compartment end trim and left side trim. Disconnect SVCM electrical connector. Remove SVCM retaining bolt and remove SVCM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal
Fully close solar cell (sunroof) glass panel. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove lower panel covers. Disconnect solar cell electrical connector. Remove glass panel retaining nuts. Push glass panel up from inside vehicle and remove glass panel.
Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust glass panel height so that glass panel is no less than.06" (1.5 mm) below roof line and no more than.02" (.5 mm) above roof line. (Scheme 1) Adjust glass panel gap between front of glass panel and roof to.26-.28" (6.60-7.11 mm). (Scheme 2) Adjust glass panel gap between front corners of glass panel and roof to.24-.28" (6.10-7.11 mm). If glass panel is not within specifications after installation, loosen glass panel retaining nuts and adjust as necessary.

Remove trunk compartment end trim and left side trim. Disconnect ventilation fan electrical connectors. Disconnect ambient temperature switch electrical connector. Remove ventilation fan wiring harness clip from ventilation fan assembly. Remove ventilation fan assembly retaining screws and bolts. Remove ventilation fan assembly from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure.
