BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Note. Perform the theft-deterrent system initialization when the BCM is replaced with a new one.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts: Front scuff plate (LH) (See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S33927733892010102800000) .) Front side trim (LH) (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S05380344012010102800000) .) Console panel (See «CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S16179305552010102800000) .) Console (See «CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S05218780952010102800000) .)
- Set the hood release lever out of the way. (See «HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375401-S08980162612010102800000) .)
- Remove the lower panel. (See «LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-375422-S28238229142010102800000) .)
- Remove the dashboard wiring harness connector clip from the BCM.
- Disconnect the connectors shown in the figure.
- Remove the bolts shown in the figure.
- Raise the BCM in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull it in the direction of the arrow (2), and remove the tab from the body.
- Pull the BCM outward and remove the pin from the body.
- Remove the BCM.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
