FRONT DRAIN HOSE INSTALLATION

CAUTIONIf the front drain hose is pinched or bent anywhere, the water in the hose may not discharge and enter the inside of the vehicle. During and after installation of the trims and the headliner, always make sure there is no interference with the front drain hose. Fix any problem if found.
  1. Apply soapy water to the front drain hose inserting area.
  2. Insert one end (the wider end) of the front drain hose into the sunroof frame.
  3. Install the front drain hose to the clips, parallel to the pillar and free of slack.
  4. Insert the front drain hose joint into the hinge pillar inner hole.
  5. Connect the auto-dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror)

  7. Connect the rain sensor connector. (Vehicles with auto light/wiper system)

  9. Install the seaming welt.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable.

  2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.

  4. Disconnect the dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with dimming mirror)
  5. Disconnect the rain sensor connector. (vehicles with rain sensor)

  12. Disconnect the rear drain hose from the sunroof frame.
  13. Remove the rear drain hose from the clips.
  14. Pull the rear drain hose into the room side.
  15. Remove the rear drain hose.

REAR DRAIN HOSE INSTALLATION

  1. Apply soapy water to the rear drain hose inserting area.
  2. Insert one end (the wider side) of the rear drain hose into the sunroof frame.
  3. Install the rear drain hose to the clips parallel to the pillar and free of slack.
  4. Insert the rear drain hose joint into the rear pillar inner hole.

  6. Install the trunk end trim (See «TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S18023401772013101400000) .)

  8. Install the map light. (See «MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581620-S12558053102013101400000) .)

  14. Install the seaming welt.
  15. Connect the negative battery cable.

  6. Disconnect the auto-dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror)
  7. Remove the sunvisors. (See «SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S15387534752013101400000) .)
  8. Remove the map light. (See «MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581620-S12558053102013101400000) .)

  10. Remove the headliner. (See «HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S06320006622013101400000) .)
  11. Disconnect the sunroof motor connector.
  12. Remove the screws, and then remove the sunroof motor.
  13. Install in the reverse order of removal. NOTE: If the glass panel or the sunroof motor is moved with the sunroof motor removed, initial position setting of the sunroof motor will be required. Perform initial position setting referring to the Sunroof Motor Assembly Note. (See «SUNROOF UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY»(ref-581735-S26567063692013101400000) .)
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
  3. Remove the rain sensor cover. (Vehicles with auto light/wiper system) (See «RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581618-S16481366742013101400000) .)
  4. Disconnect the rain sensor connector. (Vehicles auto light/wiper system)
  5. Disconnect the auto-dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror)
  6. Remove the following parts: Sunroof seaming welt A-pillar trims (See «A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S20559757112013101400000) .) Front scuff plate (See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S36484760642013101400000) .)   7. Measure the voltage at each terminal. If not as specified, inspect the parts listed under "Inspection item" and the related wiring harnesses. If the parts and wiring harnesses are normal but the system still does not work properly, replace the sunroof motor. (See «SUNROOF MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581735-S04777688962013101400000) .)

Note. The sunroof switch is together with the front map light.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the overhead console.
  3. Remove the map light from the headliner. (See «MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581620-S12558053102013101400000) .)
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the overhead console.
  3. Remove the map light from the headliner. (See «MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581620-S12558053102013101400000) .)
  4. Remove the sunroof switch. (See «SUNROOF SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581735-S06748777692013101400000) .)
  5. Inspect for continuity between the sunroof switch terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the sunroof switch. (See «SUNROOF SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581735-S06748777692013101400000) .)
