BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When replacing the BCM, the configuration procedure must be performed before removing the BCM. Replacing the BCM without performing the configuration procedure will result in system malfunction. |

- Perform the BCM configuration when replacing it. (See «BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) CONFIGURATION»(ref-581670-S09299603242013101400000).)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the front scuff plate (driver-side). (See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S36484760642013101400000).)
- Remove the front side trim (driver-side). (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S15846352132013101400000).)
- Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure. (Scheme 61): Identifying BCM, Fuse Block And Connector
- Remove tab A as shown in the figure, pull the fuse block in the direction of the arrow (1), and remove tab B. (Scheme 62): Removing Fuse Block
- Remove the fuse block.
- Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure. (Scheme 63): Identifying BCM And Connector
- Remove the nut. (Scheme 64): BCM And Nut With Torque Specification
- Press the BCM tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure while pulling it in the direction of the arrow (2), and then remove the tab from the body. (Scheme 65): Pressing BCM Tab
- Disconnect the connector at the position shown in the figure. (Scheme 66): Identifying BCM And Connector
- Detach the clips and remove the vehicle wiring harness. (Scheme 67): Identifying Vehicle Wiring Harness And Clips
- Remove the BCM.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
