Scheme 16: AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove compartment. (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581614-S35474389282013101400000).)
  3. Remove in the order indicated in the table. (Scheme 16): Air Intake Actuator And Connector
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Connect battery positive voltage to air intake actuator terminal A (or B), connect terminal B (or A) to ground, and then verify that the air intake actuator operates as shown in the table. If the operation condition is not normal, replace the air intake actuator. (Scheme 18): Battery Positive Voltage To Air Intake Actuator Terminals A (B) And B (A) To Ground Terminal Air Intake Actuator Operation A B Ground B+ FRESH --> RECIRCULATE B+ Ground RECIRCULATE --> FRESH

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove in the order indicated table. (Scheme 19): Driver's Side Air Mix Actuator And Connector
  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  3. Remove the A/C unit. (See «A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581666-S35905141042013101400000).)
  4. Disassemble the A/C unit. (See «A/C UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY»(ref-581666-S39152968662013101400000).)
  5. Remove in the order indicated table. (Scheme 20): Passenger's Side Air Mix Actuator And Connector
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
