DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR INSPECTION
- Remove the column cover. (See «COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-448656-S12743804542012012000000) .)
- Turn the steering wheel to the right and left, and verify that the voltage and pulses at the terminals are as shown in the illustration.

BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the aerodynamic under cover No. 2. (See «AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-448621-S11343791992012012000000) .)
- Disconnect the back-up light switch connector. (See «BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R]»(ref-448593-S42343639022012012000000) .)
- Verify that the continuity between the back-up light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the back-up light switch.

FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the column cover. (See «COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-448656-S12743804542012012000000) .)
- Remove the light switch. (See «LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-448651-S20012982002012012000000) .)
- Verify that the continuity between the front fog light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the light switch.

TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHART
VANITY MIRROR ILLUMINATION INSPECTION
- Remove the sunvisor. (See «SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-448656-S17577240092012012000000) .)
- Verify that the continuity between the vanity mirror illumination terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, inspect the bulb. If there is no malfunction, replace the sunvisor.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole, and pry it in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove the lens.
- Remove the Vanity mirror illumination bulb.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
