1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. For vehicles equipped with the wire-type climate control unit, disconnect the wires for the front A/C unit. (See «CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL [L3, AJ].»(ref-288779-S31478408762008062500000) ) (See «CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION [L3, AJ].»(ref-288779-S12596401212008062500000) )
4. Disconnect the dashboard harness connectors.
5. Remove the bolts.
6. Pull out the support pins from the body to remove the dashboard. WARNING: Removing the dashboard without supporting it can be dangerous. The dashboard may fall and injure you. Always perform these procedures together with at least another person.
7. Take the dashboard off from the driver-side door opening.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Scheme 6

1. Detach the fitting parts of the upper column cover from the meter hood rubber.
2. Remove the upper column cover.
3. Remove the screws.
4. Remove the lower column cover.
5. Remove the ignition key illumination.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 7

2. Remove the screws.
3. Pull the lower panel outward, disengage clips A and tabs B from the dashboard, and remove the lower panel.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 8

1. Disengage clips using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver.
2. Pull the side panel outward, then disengage tabs from dashboard, and remove the side panel.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 9

1. Remove the screws.
2. Pull the meter hood outward, then detach the column cover.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the damper clip.
2. Bend the stoppers inward to remove.
3. Open the glove compartment lid until it is completely horizontal and remove the clips by pulling them in the direction of the arrow.
4. Remove the glove compartment.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 12

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the center panel unit. (See «CENTER PANEL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»(ref-288740-S22044634672008062500000) )
3. Remove the screws.
4. Pull the center box outward, then disengage the tabs.
5. Disconnect the information display connector.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 13

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. For MTX vehicle, remove the shift lever knob.
3. Remove the panel No.1 using a tape-wrapped screwdriver.
4. Remove the panel No.2 using a tape-wrapped screwdriver, disconnect the cigarette lighter connector, and remove the front ashtray illumination.
5. Rotate the wiring harness clip installed on the cradle 90° in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure and pull it out. (with car-navigation system)
6. Disconnect the cradle connector.
7. Remove the screws.
8. Remove the seat warmer switch. (See «SEAT WARMER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»(ref-288736-S32751963612008062500000) )
9. Disconnect the accessory socket connector.
10. Remove the console.
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
2. Pull the A-pillar trim shown in the figure in the direction of the arrow, raise clip B from its grommet together with the A-pillar trim, and remove clips at the same time.
3. Slide the A-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the A-pillar trim from clip B.
4. Rotate and pull clip B in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure until it is no longer loose, and feels tight.
5. Pull clip B and remove it from the grommet.
6. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver between the body and the grommet.
7. Press the tabs and remove the grommet.
8. Install the new grommet to the body.
9. Install the new clip B to the A-pillar trim.
10. Install the A-pillar trim.

Scheme 19

1. Remove the front scuff plate. (See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S10089043242008062500000) ).
2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
3. Pull the front side trim outward, disengage clip A and the stud bolt, then remove the front side trim.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. Remove the fastener.
4. Pull the tire house trim outward, disengage clips A from the body, and remove the tire house trim.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 21

1. Remove the rear scuff plate. (See «REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S23794421762008062500000) ).
2. Pull the tire house trim toward you, then disengage clip B from the body and clip A, hooks C, D from the trunk side trim.
3. Remove the tire house trim.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the high-mount brake light.
2. Fold down the rear seat back.
3. Remove the fasteners.
4. Pull the rear package trim upward, then disengage the clips from the body.
5. Disengage the tabs, then remove the rear package trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. Pull the area marked A, then remove one side of the B-pillar lower trim.
4. Pull the B-pillar lower trim, then remove the pin from the body.
5. Remove the B-pillar lower trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 24

1. Remove the following parts: Remove the upper anchor of the front seat belt. (See «FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»(ref-288742-S36285068912008062500000) ) Front scuff plate. See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S10089043242008062500000) ). Rear scuff plate. See «REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S23794421762008062500000) ). B-pillar lower trim. See «B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S32400011912008062500000) ).
2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
3. Pull the B-pillar upper trim outward, then tab a disengage clip B and pin C from the body.
4. Disengage tab A from the body, then remove B-pillar upper trim.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 25

4. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
5. Remove the cap using a fastener remover, and remove the bolt (with curtain air bag system).
6. Disengage clips A and pin B using a fastener remover.
7. Pull the C-pillar trim outward, then disengage the tab from the body.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 26

1. Remove the rear scuff plate. (See «REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S23794421762008062500000) ).
2. Remove the tire house trim. (See «TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S24422842242008062500000) ).
3. Remove the trunk side upper trim. (See «TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S11822386052008062500000) ).
4. Turn the seaming welt over.
5. Remove the cap using a fastener remover the bolt, (with curtain air bag system)
6. Disengage clips A and pin B using a fastener remover.
7. Pull the C-pillar trim forward, then disengage the hook from the body.
8. Remove the rear center seat belt tongue from the C-pillar trim. (LH only)
9. Remove the C-pillar trim.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 27

2. Remove the tire house trim. (See «TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-288737-S24422842242008062500000) ).
3. Remove the trunk side upper trim. (See «TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [5-DOOR, SPORT WAGON]»(ref-288737-S31831987182008062500000) ).
4. Turn the seaming welt over.
5. Remove the fastener.
6. Pull the C-pillar trim forward, then disengage the clip A and pin B from the body.
7. Remove the hook from the body, then remove the C-pillar trim.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 28

4. Pull the D-pillar trim forward, then disengage the clips A and pin B from the body.
5. Remove the hook from the body, then remove the D-pillar trim.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

4. Remove the screws.
5. Remove the tonneau cover anchor.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Pull the front scuff plate upward, disengage clips B, pins C, D and tabs E from the body, and remove the front scuff plate.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Pull the rear scuff plate upward, then disengage clips A, pins B, and tabs C from the body, and remove the rear scuff plate.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Pull the inner garnish outward and detach clips A and pins B.
3. Remove the inner garnish.
4. Disconnect the front tweeter connector.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Pull the trunk end trim upward, then disengage clips A, pins B, and the tabs.
3. Remove the trunk end trim.

5. Remove the rear seat remote lever.
6. Remove the screw.
7. Pull the trunk side upper trim toward you, then disengage clips A from the body.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. Remove the rear seat remote lever.
4. Remove the cargo hooks.
5. Remove the screw.
6. Pull the trunk side upper trim toward you, then remove the hooks A, C, D, F and clips B, pin E from the body.
7. Remove the trunk side upper trim.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the cap using a small screwdriver, then remove the screw.
3. Remove the inner handle cover.
4. Disconnect the door lock switch connector.
5. Remove the inner garnish.
6. Remove the cover, then remove screw A.
7. Remove the lens cover, then remove screw.
8. Disengage clips A from the front door using a fastener remover.
9. Pull the front door trim upward, then disengage tabs B from the front door.
10. Disconnect the power door mirror switch connector and the power window main switch connector.
11. Remove the courtesy light.
12. Remove the front door trim.
13. Remove the switch panel from the front door trim.
14. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Open the cap using a small screwdriver, then remove the screw.
4. Remove the inner handle cover.
5. Disconnect the door lock switch connector.
6. Remove the cover, then remove screw A.
7. Remove the lens cover, then remove screw.
8. Disengage clips A from the front door using a fastener remover.
9. Pull the front door trim upward, then disengage tabs B from the front door.
10. Disconnect the power window sub-switch connector.
11. Remove the courtesy light.
12. Remove the front door trim.
13. Remove the switch panel from the front door trim.
14. Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Open the cap using a small screwdriver, then remove the screw.
3. Remove the inner handle cover.
4. Remove the cover, then remove screws.
5. Disengage clips A from the rear door using a fastener remover.
6. Pull the rear door trim upward, then disengage tabs B from the rear door.
7. Disconnect the power window sub-switch connector.
8. Remove the rear door trim.
9. Remove the switch panel from the rear door trim.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the fasteners.
2. Remove the partition board.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 49

1. Pull the liftgate upper trim toward you, then disengage clips A, and pin B from the body.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
