1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment.
3. Remove the duct (1). See «A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3, AJ].»
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment. See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»
3. Remove the car navigation unit. See «CAR-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal G or H and ground to terminal H or G of the air intake actuator.
2. Verify that the air intake actuator operates as shown below. If not as specified, replace the air intake actuator. AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR OPERATION REFERENCE Connection Movement B+ GND G H RECIRCULATE <-- FRESH H G FRESH <-- RECIRCULATE

1. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal D or F and ground to terminal F or D of the air intake actuator.
2. Verify that the air intake actuator operates as shown below. If there is any malfunction, replace the air intake actuator. AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR OPERATION REFERENCE Connection Movement B+ GND D F RECIRCULATE --> FRESH F D FRESH --> RECIRCULATE

See «LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.» Steering shaft. See «STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.» A-pillar trim. See «A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.» Front scuff plate. See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.» Front side trim. See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.» Side panel. See «SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»
3. Remove the dashboard. See «DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.»
4. Remove the A/C unit installation nuts. See «A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC].»
5. Remove the blower unit. See «BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC].»
6. Remove the duct (2).
7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
