Removal & Installation
- Remove battery cover. Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove under cover and splash shield as one unit.
- Lift off and remove the plug hole plate from the installation areas. (Scheme 6)
- Remove battery hold down clamp.
- Position the drive belt out of the way.
- Position the coolant reserve tank out of the way.
- Disconnect "B" terminal cable and generator harness connector.
- Remove generator mounting bolts. Remove generator.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners in sequence, to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-166663-S01429765422004092400000). (Scheme 7)
