  1. Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to «SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM»(ref-494575) .
  2. Remove the 3 steering wheel switch trim bezel screws.
  3. Disconnect the steering wheel switch electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the steering wheel switch trim.
  5. Remove the paddle shifter. Disconnect the paddle shifter. Remove the 2 bolts and the paddle shifter. To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal and Installation

Note. The SelectShift™ switch is part of the selector lever knob.

  1. To install a new SelectShift™ switch, a new selector lever knob must be installed. For additional information, refer to «SELECTOR LEVER KNOB»(ref-494610-S05758695022012081400000) .
