Forward Collision Warning
The forward collision warning system consists of the following components
- Head Up Display (HUD) module
- Radar sensor (integral to the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM))
The forward collision warning system is designed to alert the driver of a collision risk with a red warning LED indicator located above the dashboard known as the HUD module and an audible warning chime from the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
Network Communication
The following forward collision warning system components communicate via the HS-CAN
- HUD module
- C-CM
- ABS module
- IPC
