Removal (Except Cougar & Thunderbird): Overview Lincoln Mark I

Mechanical
  1. For left manifold, remove oil dipstick and tube assembly. On right manifold, remove thermactor hardware (if equipped).
  2. On all manifolds, remove spark plug wires and spark plugs. Disconnect oxygen sensor. Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold. Remove retaining bolts, washers, exhaust manifold and gasket.
